The Arts Council of Princeton
Paul Robeson Center for the Arts
Princeton, NJ / USA
The Arts Council of Princeton is a non-profit community arts organization that sponsors exhibits, film series, performances, and offers art instruction for children, teens and adults. The existing building was not climate-controlled or handicapped-accessible, and was too small to meet the growing demand for programs and space. The resulting 8,000 square foot renovation and 8,000 square foot expansion project, named the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts after the great singer and actor who grew up in the adjoining neighborhood, is a distinctive facility that reflects the importance of the arts in the community.
