Living at South Beach

The international group of neighbors who live at 1500 Ocean Drive enjoy the luxuries of a 5-star beach resort combined with the comfortable intimacy of a private home. For the exterior design, we were inspired by materials, colors and forms of the adjacent historic Art Deco District. On the inside, we created commodious public spaces with custom furnishings and apartments with great views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Planned for the views

With its angled plan and cylindrical tower facing the beach, our design provides everyone living there with an ocean view.  The way we articulated the facades and balconies helps break down the scale of the 15-story building in response to the district’s context. As part of the project, we converted the adjacent Art Deco Bancroft Hotel into a retail center.
