A one-of-a-kind resort

For international visitors, the 51° Spa Residences, 72-key boutique hotel, and luxury spa offer unique year-round experiences in an Alpine town that has enjoyed its thermal springs since Roman times.  A crossroads between old and new sections of town, the site is a natural clearing with spectacular views to the mountains, connecting community and nature.

A marriage of site and use

Our design makes residents and visitors feel linked to the history of the place while experiencing a new paradigm for resort living. Every detail – from private in-home use of thermal waters and rugged stone and wood materials, to the public plaza with its fountain of fire and ice – contributes to an unforgettable, immersive experience.

Smart concepts with good ROI

In an envisioning session (later presented at ULI), we collaborated with a real estate specialist to maximize property value through a site-specific program supported by market research, financial forecasts and design perspective. We proved that a branded spa resort and residences using local thermal waters would attract more investment than housing alone.
