Beaverdam Elementary School supports 900 students in a 102,600-SF facility that includes classrooms (52 teaching spaces), administrative offices, media center, stage, basketball court, dining. kitchen, and support spaces. A playground and sport fields were also constructed on the school’s 21.5-acre site.

This new two-story elementary school facility was patterned after an existing elementary school in Forsyth County. Due to the quality, efficiency and flexibility of the design, Wake County Schools selected it as a top elementary school prototype. The design team then modified the prototype design to meet the Wake County Public School System’s Design Guidelines.
