Distinctive roof forms for an important view

We paired Crockfords and Hotel Michael to frame an uninterrupted view to the Merlion, an existing colossal statue of Singapore’s national mascot. While the hotels’ façades have regular, evenly spaced elements, we gave a spirited, lyrical presence to the “iconic roofs” that were permitted above a certain height. Their undulating profile and verdigris copper color reminded us of the green hills of Sentosa Island.

Reserved for special patrons

Since gaming in unsurpassed luxury is the essence of the Crockfords brand, we designed the 9-story hotel to cater to its guests. The discrete location of the check-in, direct access to the casino, hotel amenities and mix of upscale suite accommodations all contribute to the exclusive ambiance of Crockfords. We used dark natural wood and red and gold colors in the guestrooms to signal luxury and hopefully bring good luck.
