Lakeside Dining is fully integrated with the existing student union and also creates a gateway between residential and academic environments on campus. The commodious main dining room is a large, double-height space with timber trusses and abundant natural light. It is surrounded by three open serveries where students can choose from seasonal and locally sourced food, home-style favorites, or a changing array of international fare. A retail dining area includes a “grab-n-go” commissary surrounded by informal seating.

Outdoor patios and gathering areas such as a new plaza and a Winter Garden, provide open-air seating where Elon students enjoy views of other campus – which regularly ranks among America’s most beautiful.
