The City of Etowah desired that the design of its new City Hall adopt the architectural style and character of the adjacent historic train depot. The new building has a central covered entryway, low sloped roofs with generous overhangs, and horizontal lap siding similar to the architectural elements of the historic building. The program includes a customer service area, offices for the City Manager and other municipal officers, a conference room, and records storage. The site was master planned for the potential future addition of a council chamber.
