A transformative building conversion
The conversion of a former IBM office building into a new ministry complex for Hope Christian Church centers on a 1,200-seat sanctuary and also includes a large fellowship hall, classrooms, a youth ministry and church, and a children’s ministry, among other facilities needed for day-to-day operations. All of these spaces are connected by a circulation artery, a gathering and fellowship zone referred to as “ministry boulevard,” with forms inspired by the idea of a flowing river.
