A house by the sea
This single-family residence is located on a bluff along the rocky New England coast, approximately 60 feet from the Atlantic Ocean. The casual nature of the composition – with individual pavilions for the various program elements — is reminiscent of other New England compounds which were developed over time. The living-dining pavilion anchors the composition, with other pavilions for office, guest quarters, swimming pool and pool house pin-wheeling off the central form. Large windows fill the interior with light and frame the views to the scenic landscape beyond.
