Planning for future growth
This new school on the east coast of North Carolina provided much-needed space for the Currituck County School System. We designed Jarvisburg Elementary School to accommodate an initial K-5 student population of 300, with the capacity to support a core of 700 students in anticipation of future growth. We also worked with the school system and the county to redesign several existing recreational fields, which were located adjacent to the school’s site. The new design incorporates softball, baseball, and soccer fields and a proposed football and track facility.
