Karns Church of Christ knew that they needed to expand their sanctuary to accommodate the growing congregation. They also needed a new building for the Southeast School. A master plan was developed as a tool for locating the new building, adding parking, and expanding the church sanctuary. Phase 1 of the ensuing project expanded the sanctuary into the church’s existing lobby and constructed an addition to serve as a new lobby. Phase 2 constructed a two-story building as the new home of the Southeast School. The location of the new building created a courtyard and a secondary entrance for the church.
