Lewisville’s Town Hall houses the council chambers, executive meeting rooms, and administrative offices for all municipal departments. The council chamber doubles as a multi-purpose space for meetings and social events, supported by an adjacent kitchen. A separate entrance leads to the second level where a double-height reception hall provides panoramic views of the Town Square and Library.
The building design responds to the Town’s Downtown Overlay District Planning Guidelines, including limiting the height to two stories and placing the council chamber at grade adjacent to parking to meet accessibility requirements.
Prior to designing the Town Hall, we developed a Downtown Master Plan Update that proposed new street patterns, parking, pedestrian circulation, landscape, and stormwater management along with suggested locations for new buildings and connections to public utilities.
