Creating a new destination in the city
When the project’s developer realized that upzoning a former parking lot site was feasible, the design team turned our creativity and imagination toward conceptualizing a vibrant new urban residential community. The two-tower, 1000-unit rental development with abundant amenities will resonate with residents and positively impact the neighborhood. The scheme activates the ground level with retail and a neighborhood supermarket on one side and townhouses on the other that conceal vehicular access and parking within the plinth. Their massing and orientation respond to the immediate context.
Elevating culture and community
The multi-level glassy base of the building terraces up from the street to a series of plazas filled with greenery, open to the sky, and activated by glass-fronted retail and restaurants. To foster a sense of community for the residents, we recommended an extensive amenity package, at multiple levels, including an activity bridge at the second level and a rooftop terrace. Amenities include a fitness center, co-working spaces, recreational facilities, sky lounges, and other attractive features. The residential units, with a mix of apartment types and sizes, are designed with modern finishes and abundant natural light.
