Palmer Park Community Center

The Palmer Park Community Center project involved renovation and expansion of an outdated 1960s community building. The existing gym was transformed into classrooms, a fitness center, and a dance studio as the remainder of the building was demolished to make way for offices, a collegiate-size gymnasium with an elevated running track, and a multi-purpose room with a stage. All of these spaces are located around a centrally located lobby to maximize supervision. The building includes large expanses of glass to bring natural light deep into the building.
