Restore Health Waldorf is a skilled nursing facility located on a 5.6-acre site in the rapidly growing area surrounding Waldorf, Maryland. Initially licensed for 67 beds, the building is designed to grow to 80 skilled nursing beds plus a future assisted living facility. The building plan is organized around two landscaped courtyards, one for residents and one for staff. An assisted living expansion would be designed to have its own courtyard.
The skilled nursing facility contains two nursing units: one for long-term care, serving primarily senior residents; and one for short-term care, serving primarily patients requiring rehabilitation services. Both units are supported by a state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Services Center that provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
