Creating a new travel hub
Increasing tourism and travel in the region of the South China Sea south of Hainan Province suggested the need for a center for docking seaplanes and yachts with an arrivals and departure terminal, lounges and a yacht club. To create an exciting attraction for the local population, the multi-level building also includes an auditorium, shops and the first night club in the area. Extending into Sanya Bay at the end of a causeway, the star-shaped building seems to float as a symbol of air and water, creating a memorable presence from above.
