When Summer Moon, a popular coffee shop based in Texas, decided to branch out to Tennessee, the local design team partnered with the chain’s interior designer to replicate the branded look in the new location. The interior design selections favored signature colors and cozy finishes, lighting, and comfortable furniture.
The owners were passionate about maintaining the high standards and overall warmth associated with the Summer Moon brand despite construction obstacles caused by the pandemic, including delayed supply shipments and unprecedented shortages. The unavailability of certain products offered a unique opportunity for the local design team to source alternative finishes that would mesh with the space, including the brick veneer, tile, and also adapt custom casework to the layout.
