Incorporating Syracuse branded interiors
Syracuse University in D.C. serves a multitude of purposes that include administrative offices, an experience center for recruiting prospective students, and a gathering space for alumni. The facility also provides classrooms and touchdown workspace for graduate and undergraduate students attending the University’s several D.C.-based study options and its standalone executive education program. Using the University’s signature orange color and branded graphics creates an engaging presence that resonates from the entrance through the interiors.
A creative and flexible space for students
The landlord for the building at 1333 New Hampshire Avenue, NW engaged Michael Graves to provide tenant fit-out services for the interiors and building entrance, delivered to the University on a turnkey basis. The public-facing functions, including a lobby, student lounge, and several classrooms, are located on the First Floor at the building entrance. Other facilities occupy a portion of the Ninth Floor, including a large multi-purpose presentation room with pre-function space, student lounge, classrooms and several sizes of conference rooms, an interview room set up for podcasts and recordings, and offices.
