Tucked between Sedona’s iconic red sandstone cliffs and the babbling Oak Creek, L’Auberge de Sedona has long been considered one of Arizona’s most inviting retreats. To further solidify the resort as the premier destination for luxury and tranquility in Arizona’s Red Rock region, the property underwent a $30 million transformation. At the center of the renovation is The Cliffs, a new room category born from the property’s acquisition and enhancement of the former Orchards Inn.

Sprawled across four buildings, The Cliffs’ 70 updated guestrooms and suites were designed with a contemporary Southwest aesthetic featuring earthy rust tones, deep blues, and subtle desert hues. Rooms feature fireplaces, custom-designed furnishings, local artwork, spa-inspired bathrooms, and spacious patios or balconies. Reoriented guestroom layouts maximize floor-to-ceiling Red Rock or creekside views.

A property-wide transformation

Beyond the debut of The Cliffs, the property-wide transformation includes a collection of new and enhanced guest experiences and spaces, including a refreshed arrival, upgraded lobby, fitness center, new three-level cliffside pool deck, event terrace, and walking paths. The “Duck Pond” pool sits on the edge of a red rock bluff with 200-degree views of the surrounding red rocks.

To further underscore L’Auberge de Sedona’s legacy as one of the region’s most alluring getaways, the reimagined property has become an esteemed member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. The resort has achieved the highest standards of luxury, discretion and personalization required of SLH’s highly acclaimed community of hotels.
