A scenic wedding venue
Set in the rolling hills of rural New Jersey, the Ryland Inn is a 10-acre historic equestrian estate and pony express stagecoach stop turned elegant hospitality destination. The main house of the original Ryman Farm was built in 1796 and later developed as a restaurant. For a new owner, we transformed the property over several phases of construction to create a spectacular wedding venue. The original building was renovated and expanded to include a large, glass-walled banquet hall and patio. Two other buildings became five-bedroom, amenity-rich guesthouses – the bride’s house and the groom’s house.
Barns and stables transformed
We replaced several decrepit barns and stables with a pair of banquet facilities named the Coach House and the Stable. The cobblestone-clad main entrance is located between the two banquet halls. Two existing silos were reclaimed and activated. One serves as a cylindrical bar, and the other as a shelter and a popular setting for photo ops.
