A benefit to the community

The initiative to build one of Forsyth County’s newest elementary schools gave designers the opportunity to show that an elementary school can be much more than simply a collection of adjacent classrooms where our youngest students learn. The airy, two-story facility we designed incorporates numerous features that help set a positive tone for students as they embark on a lifetime of learning.

And it’s not just the students who are affected by the building’s design. Teachers, administrators, parents, volunteers, and visitors are simultaneously uplifted by the open, light-filled structure. The community of Clemmons has also benefitted as Morgan Elementary was the first stage of the Village Point development that has brought a new medical center and additional retail, commercial and recreational opportunities to the area.
