Upgrading the golf experience

This multi-phased project significantly upgraded the facilities for the Wake Forest University men’s and women’s golf teams. The project includes a new clubhouse for coaches and team members, an indoor/outdoor practice facility for driving and putting, and a new 15-acre practice range. In Phase 1, removal of an existing baseball stadium allowed a redesign and expansion of the golf practice range. Designed by Arnold Palmer Design Company, it features an array of signature greens modeled after designs by prominent golf course architects.

Practice, practice, practice

Phase 2 included the Dianne Dailey Golf Learning Center, an indoor/outdoor practice facility for driving and putting. The Center features special video bays for swing analysis, a club repair room, storage rooms and driving and putting areas. The LEED-Gold facility was the first project on the campus to achieve LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
